Nothing spurs on my creativity more than the changing of a season, especially spring and autumn because the changes feel so needed. So I thought i’d bring you along with me (visually, I won’t write too much in here)
I like to gather together little bits and bobs to create photos. There’s something about gathering my treasured pieces and styling them with flowers and words and capturing that perfect little creative moment, that little bit of escapism on file for ever for me to save, curate and look back on. It’s been a hobby ever since I got my first disposable camera and arranged my divastar (throw back, only the 30 somethings will know what they are) and other treasured possessions into an awkward little grid and wasted a full film roll capturing my collection of happiness. I think maybe I enjoy taking photos of my paintings more than I enjoy actually painting itself. Anyway, here are a few bits and pieces from my phones camera roll from the past few weeks…
